This month's tip includes data for general purpose high-speed steels and cobalt high-speed steels. The 5-page download includes definitions of terms shown in the image, as well as reference and documentation data and special surface treatment descriptions and characteristics. A few examples of special surface treatments are: black oxide, gold finish, and polished finish. Other names these treatments are 'also known as' are provided in the download file as well.
